Finally, version 1.0 is complete! This has been a project for me the past several weeks. I'd especially like to thank :icontwoscrewsloose:, :iconravenworks:, and my friend Peter for their help with playtesting and coding.

Safehouse is a resource management game set in a post-apocalypse setting overrun by zombies. Though there is a win condition, it is possible to simply refuse to evacuate the city and play the game as though it were a nonstop resource game. Instructions for the mechanics of the game should be in the How To Play section.

Edit: Some spelling fixes, fixed a nasty font error involving Linux.

Made in Flash 6.

Very interesting concept for a zombie game I actually wish they have survivor strategy games like this.

I mean it would be fun to micromanage something like this and maybe even have a situation where you can actually if you play your cards right out last the zombies. Even establish salvaging stations in your safe house or identify where other safe houses are so if one needs to be abandoned they can find where they can regroup. Or even set up traps that only zombies would fall into like obvious rotating blades in an open area.

This is a very refreshing change in zombie attacking games.

It's been a long time since I've worked with Flash, but what I've wanted to do since making this is make a beefed-up version with more detailed survivor info (randomly generated names, maybe some slight perks like 'this guy knows first aid') and the ability to inhabit different buildings (like, say, a power plant or radio station.)

A defense- and resource-management focused approach to the zombie apocalypse would be a nice change from the usual 'shoot lots of zombies' approach.

Useful abilities: Keep track of supplies and give a general idea about how much supplies will be expened in the near future.

Or also a Hunter who is good at tracking and he can aid in avoiding Zombie groups with his tracking abilities.

I mean thier is so much untapped potenchial for a micromanaging game in this field there would be alot of things one could do with it.
